NORTHSTAR ENERGY AIMS TO GENERATE RENEWABLE ENERGY
Develop and integrate a network of scalable and renewable energy projects on our acreage position.
Overview
Northstar has undertaken a pre-feasibility study to assess the viability of developing it’s own network of Energy Evolution Hubs. Ideally located through our decarbonisation partnerships with large carbon emitters overlying our extensive geothermal acreage, with access to existing infrastructure, and generating revenues and large-scale generation certificates (LGCs) providing firm base load renewable energy for clean fuel production.
Northstar is aiming to deliver these projects and a cleaner energy future for Queensland, aligned with the State Government which is pursuing plans to generate 50 percent of the state’s electricity from renewable energy by 2030.
