Our projects cover Australia’s best thermal fairways.
Project AUSI 1
A 2MW pilot plant project which provides a quick route to cash flow.
Commissioning is scheduled for H2 2027, with operations expected to be running to 2055 and beyond.
One well will be used to transform a working fluid into steam-like vapour using the energy of hot, subterranean water reservoirs.
The vapour will quickly ascends to the surface where it spins an Organic Rankine Cycle turbine and generator to produce carbon-free, baseload electricity.
Australis Project, Queensland
Acreage total
33,000km²
Inferred thermal energy resource estimate
6,3000,000 PJ
The Australis Project is a world-scale inferred thermal energy resource estimate of over 6,000,000 PJe from identified thermal fairways with extensive data acquisition from gas production and coal mining activities. All tenements are transected by high voltage transmission connected to the NEM and large industry. A pre-FEED level study for a 2 MW pilot project (AUSI 1) is planned on Exploration Permit geothermal (EPG) 2041 Roma South.
Torrens Project, South Australia
Acreage total
5,000km²
Inferred thermal energy resource estimate from GEL 571
780,000 PJ
The Torrens Project is an extensive exploration program completed to establish a world first code-compliant inferred geothermal resource in excess of 700,000 PJe in South Australia. An active heat source is contained in the Torrens Hinge Zone, which hosts A Pre-Feasibility Study is currently underway on a 2 MW Pilot project (TORI 1) on Geothermal Exploration License (GEL) 571 at Parachilna.
NSW#1 PROJECT, NEW SOUTH WALES
We have a fast growth pathway to 1,000MW.
